Taking up the Banjo led me to form a country/folk band Squashwater venturing into the folk music scene releasing a CD. I handled bookings, management, marketing and composed the music.
Volume One at Fuel Bar Northbridge 2000. This gig launched my event adventures after graduating from TAFE Music Industry Skills. I handled event management, marketing, production and content creation. I accumulated some sponsors to provide in kind services and products. A great turnout with minor issues and the events adventure continues.
I was immersed in the late 90's dance club music movement even counting in the year 2000 at Ministry of Sound at Belmont Park which manifested into a monthly showcase of local live producers and electro DJs at Future Shock at the Grosvenor Backroom.
I cut my teeth DJing in the 90's playing fighter's intro music for Thai Boxing tournaments. Later
I scored a residency at Amplifier Bar as DJ BMX. I launched Primal Vinyl playing
weddings, parties and corporate events exclusively spinning my record collection.
Expanding my original concept portfolio to the Blue Room Theatre introduced me to new audiences and production methodologies.
I met Gary Stern CEO of US pinball manufacturing company Stern Electronics at the 2015 Sydney Pinball Symposium. The next year I coordinated the National AC/DC Pinball Championships at the Velvet Lounge in Mt Lawley.
My first band Tantrum formed in 1994 rocked local pubs and supported Painters and Dockers at Club Atlantis.
